BSIS’17 program

BSIS’17 is a 4 week program hosted at the Polytechnic University of Valencia. Valencia is located on the eastern part of the Spanish Mediterranean coast. With a multicultural past, Valencia is the third largest city in Spain. Valencia embraces culture and tradition from the past combined with singular architecture, exciting gastronomy, nightlife, and beautiful white sand beaches.

BSIS’17 aims to provide students a curriculum whereby learning is achieved in the classroom as well as outside the classroom.

Academic details

  • You can earn credits transferable to your college or university
  • You will get a certificate from Polytechnic University of Valencia.
  • Students will enroll in two courses (6-7 credits).
  • Courses are taught in English (except for Spanish language courses).
  • No Spanish language experience is required for this program.
  • Courses will be taught by local and international faculty.
  • Classmates are international students, the majority of whom are North American.


Minimum GPA

Students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.50.

Minimum Admissions Prerequisites

There is no language prerequisite for this program.

Students must be at least 18 years old by the program start date.

Students must submit a course registration agreement. Additional details will be provided after being accepted to the program.

Students with a cumulative GPA below 2.5 may be considered for acceptance. They must also submit one letter of recommendation and a statement of purpose.
